My name is Zakary Dujardin, and I’m 23 years old. I was born in Rouen, in northern France, but I’ve spent most of my life in the French Alps, in a small town called Aix-les-Bains. It's known for having the largest natural lake in France and hosting a major summer festival. My entire family still lives in France, including my younger brother. While I don’t have a naturally strong temperament, growing up in a family full of strong personalities has taught me how to assert myself when necessary. People often perceive me as sociable, but I actually tend to be rather reserved at first.
I’ve always been the tech-savvy kid in the family, the one everyone turns to with technology-related questions. My parents were always surprised when I would read instruction manuals before using any new gadget. I think my analytical and logical thinking may have developed from that habit. I’m highly motivated and dislike wasting time, to the point that I sometimes struggle to relax. I’m also not afraid to take risks, which is part of why I decided to move to Canada to pursue my higher education.
I’ve been a gamer for as long as I can remember, and around 2016, I began considering a future in game development. That’s when I started exploring the world of programming, transitioning from just playing games to wanting to create them. And then to back-end developpement.
